1. Minutes, matters arising, future proactive agenda content

It was agreed to seek more strategic and pro-active agenda items for future meetings [action – MA]

2. SLO

The recent away game fans forum, which was organised by the Club, was attended by about 50 fans.

Around 6,000 season cards had been sold, greater than at the same stage last season.

3. Player of the Year arrangements

MA had circulated an outline programme (qv), which was approved.

4. Community Trust – donation from Liverpool FA Cup 1994 event

The donation is not yet received and appears to be going through the BSL system [action MP].

It was agreed to congratulate the trust on winning the regional award for the second year running [action SR].

5. Q&A Sessions

The Club had organised the recent away game session at Preston with advise from the Club & Trust based on previous experience. Going forward, the club will organise sessions in collaboration with the Club and Trust.

6. Supporters Bar

The new card arrangements seem to be working well but we need a laptop and scanner available.

7. Season tickets

Fans Funding Fans for the Future  It was decided to renew the tickets for next season [action JN then James Thomas]

Pricing   A booking fee appears to be charged for each card rather than each transaction as agreed [action MP]

Agreed – to ask the Club to revisit the possibility of SC holders, unable to attend a particular match, being able to offer their seat for purchase with some refund for the SC holder [action – SR].

8. Legal and Police

Leeds game        The Club & Leeds Utd FC combined to discover 160 ticket transactions which were recorded on both databases involving 803 tickets.  These had been cancelled and refunded.  Following the experience of last year, the Leeds fans will not be allowed in the front part of the away stand, which will be netted.  Their allocation is 2,600.

Swansea game    Four fans who attacked stewards are being charged.  A block of the Dolman stand was infiltrated by fans with tickets from other areas of the ground and will be specially monitored from now on.

Norwich away     A smoke bomb was thrown.

Despite these incidents, our supporters are probably one of the best sets of away supporters in the league.

Legal case          The hearing has been moved from London to Birmingham to avoid a longer wait.  We are expecting a meeting to decide whether to proceed with the case.

9. Next meeting – Wednesday 3 April.  It was decided not to have a meeting in June due to the concerts and the resulting access challenges getting in and around BS3 during the month.

10. AOB pre-notified

Supporters History Group – a group of supporters interested in the Club’s heritage and history will be meeting before the Leeds game and further regular meetings are scheduled.
