Stand up to unjustified police interference in football
Police across the country have been using draconian powers to threaten and intimidate football fans on their way to watch their favourite teams.

Once again it was our privilege to organise and host the end of season awards at our football club. The awards and honours were:
Still Baffled and Still Angry – Season Tickets
On Wednesday 7th March a joint Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust and Bristol City FAN meeting was held at a packed Supporters Bar in Ashton Gate to discuss the Club’s recent Season Ticket announcement. Responding to questions on behalf of the Football Club were Mark Ashton, Doug Harman and Gavin Marshall.

It is clear from the outpouring of anger and sheer disbelief on social media, in the media, through the FSF, via FAN and directly to us that the decision to force families to relocate their season tickets or face price increases of over 300%, is deeply unpopular. This is the feeling amongst the wider fan base, not just those directly affected.
Baffling Season Ticket Increases
The Supporters Club & Trust are somewhat baffled by the timing and pricing strategy for the 2018/19 season tickets. In what appears to be a concerted effort to free up arguably the best and most lucrative seats, the impact has fallen squarely on parents with children under 12 who are facing an increase in price for the child’s seat from £50 currently to £335 next season if they wish to stay where they sit at present, often with other family members and friends.
Cardiff Away – Why bother?
How to squeeze all the atmosphere and pleasure out of a local derby in one fell swoop. Well done the Heddlu! In my view, Cardiff away as a fixture is now officially dead. Already subjected to a reduced 1,481 ticket allocation, a 12.00 kick-off on a Sunday and no local train service, what else could Bristol City fans expect to make their away day go any better… ?
We shall not be moved
10 Bristol City supporters who are not considered a risk or involved in football related disorder were surrounded and threatened with force including the use of police dogs, publicly accused of being hooligans by an inspector using a megaphone, detained for over 90 minutes and put back on a train home without being allowed to attend the game they had come to watch. They had all travelled to the game independently, didn’t all know each other and had tickets for the match. Read More

On Friday 9 September 2016, a lawyer acting on behalf of Bristol City fans who were wrongly issued a section 35 dispersal notice, started court proceedings against West Midlands Police. Read More
