Loren Dykes MBE has finally been inducted into the latest class of our Hall of Fame, becoming one of the first City Women players to receive the honour.
Dykes’ induction was one of the first to be announced way back in April 2022 alongside former City Women player Corinne Yorston. While Yorston was formally inducted a year later in April 2023, Dykes’ induction was unable to take place at this time.
Following Dykes’ return to the football club to join Lauren Smith’s coaching staff in August 2023, Dykes was informally presented with her Hall of Fame goblet by City Women Fan Representative D-M Withers at Ashton Gate. This was following City Women’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion Women on Sunday 3rd March 2024.
