Corinne Yorston has been inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2022/23, becoming one of the first City Women players to receive the honour.
During half time of the Sky Bet Championship match with Reading on Saturday 1 April 2023, the presentation took place pitch-side by Supporters Club & Trust President Marina Dolman.
Corinne was in attendance with various guests, which included best friend & former City Women player Grace McCatty who now plays for Sunderland Women. They had earlier enjoyed hospitality and a presentation courtesy of the Supporters Club & Trust in the Heineken Lounge.
Corinne was also in attendance at the Robins High Performance Centre on Sunday 2 April 2023 to watch her former team play Sheffield United Women in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
Before the game, Corinne was given a tour of the RHPC by the club. At half time Corinne was pitch-side again, this time with Supporters Club & Trust board members Shahan Miah & D-M Withers – all being interviewed by club head of communications Dave Barton.
The remaining inductees from the 1940s/50s, & 1980s/1990s decades will be announced in due course. They will join Corinne Yorston, Chris Garland, Gary Johnson & the previously announced Loren Dykes – the other half of City Women’s first representation into the Hall of Fame.
