We are pleased to announce we have arranged away travel for supporters to attend Bristol City Women’s game against Charlton Athletic Women in the Barclays Women’s Championship on Sunday 30th October (2pm KO).
As part of our continued commitment into the women’s game, we are subsiding the coach travel; available for £15 for City Women season ticket holders, and £20 for non-season ticket holders. Coach tickets are available HERE, and those eligible for the discount will see it applied after they add them to their basket.
This is the first time in nearly a decade that a coach is being organised to take supporters to watch their team play away (the last time being when Bristol Academy were in the Women’s FA Cup Final in 2013). We are also working with the club for a second coach for another away fixture later on in the season.
Chair of the Supporters Club & Trust, Stu Rogers said: “The Supporters Club previously ran supporter coaches (now known as CATS) on behalf of the football club. Latterly, there have been attempts to organise coach travel for younger fans, not unlike fans used to do for the Junior Reds. So, we are delighted to support this initiative to encourage fans to travel together to women’s matches and hopefully establish that as a regular travel option.”
The coach is due to leave from Ashton Gate Stadium at 9:30am on the day. Supporters can park on site but will need to register their vehicles on-site to avoid any parking charges. Staff & our City Women Fan Representatives will be on site to assist supporters with this.
Match tickets can be bought from the Charlton Athletic website HERE.
