One of the main aims of many Supporters Trusts and one that is stated in our manifesto is “To continue to encourage wider supporter involvement in the Club from Boardroom down, including an elected supporter’s representative with voting powers on the Board of Bristol City Football Club”.
We have been invited to attend meetings for Ashton Gate Ltd, predominantly to advise on the stadium redevelopment form a supporter perspective. We hope this will lead to wider and fuller engagement with the board of Bristol City Football Club. Our Chair, Stuart Rogers, (pictured above at the Ashton Gate 8 plaque unveiling) will initially attend, with support from a shadow board.
