The Supporters Club & Trust is pleased to report that, following consultation with Bristol Sport, agreement has been reached to change the way ticket fees are advertised in the future.
In addition, Bristol Sport has agreed to offer an option for fee-free purchases of home match tickets, in the shape of online print at home and online load to member cards (including online load to ST cards for home cup matches). This will start from the next home game against Newcastle United.
This news follows the attendance at the monthly Supporters Club & Trust meeting of the new supporter liaison team of Adam Baker and Rachel Lemar.
We are very grateful to Adam and Rachel for relaying the feedback from supporters to their colleagues at Ashton Gate; this is a welcome exercise in fan consultation.
The Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust also welcomes news that Bristol Sport aims in future to provide a mobile-phone e-ticket option and a self-service ticket terminal at the stadium – which we will be urging Bristol Sport to make fee-free as well, so that all supporters have the chance to purchase home tickets without incurring a fee.
With the newly-appointed supporter liaison team in place, we hope that in future Bristol Sport will consult with the Supporters Club & Trust and/or FAN in advance of such decisions.
