The Supporters Club & Trust are devasted to announce that our friend, fellow board member & lifelong Bristol City fan Mike Adams has sadly passed away at the age of 84.
A long-time member of the SC&T board – and founding board member of the original Supporters Trust formed in 2005 – Mike was very well-known & popular amongst many of our members & City supporters, and kept contact with many people past & present from the football club.
As well as his board member duties, Mike worked on many of our initiatives over the years; including being ever-present at our End of Season awards presentations & Hall of Fame inductions. More recently, Mike also wrote articles for the Cidereds fan-produced matchday programme.
The SC&T sends its condolences to everyone who worked with him and will always remember his contribution to our history. Our thoughts are with his wife Jean & his family at this difficult time. He will be missed by all of us.
As a result of this tragic news, the scheduled board meeting that was due to take place tonight has been postponed.
