With the votes for the end of seasons awards now in and counted, we at the Supporters Club & Trust are about to go out and buy the trophies for our award winners.
This has been a truly unique season, with City winning both the League One title and a national cup competition. Over 4,000 supporters took part in the recent vote, with one option presented to fans for ‘Player of the Year’ being ‘The whole 2014/15 Squad’. The outcome was so close and the season so exceptional that we will be honouring both the whole squad and outstanding individuals as well.
The Supporters Club & Trust normally underwrites the full cost of the trophies but in these unique circumstances, and to ensure that the items presented are of appropriate quality, we are inviting all fans to contribute to what will this time be expenditure of a four-figure sum.

PS: Details of when and where the awards will be presented will be announced as soon as possible. Quite rightly, the manager wanted the players’ attention 100% on winning the title over recent weeks, so finalising plans for their availability to attend an awards event had to wait. Hopefully, we will now soon be able to announce our confirmed plans.
