End of Season Awards 2020/21

The Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust End of Season Award winners have now been announced.

Over 2,800 fans took part in the voting for the end of year awards, some of which have been going for 50 years.

The winners were:

Men’s Player of the Year – Dan Bentley

Shahan Miah & Mike Adams present Dan Bentley with the Player of the Season award at the Bristol City Supporters Club and Trust End of Season Awards – Rogan/JMP – 07/05/2021 – Robins High Performance Centre – Bristol, England.

Men’s Young Player of the Year – Antoine Semenyo

Bristol City SC&T young player of the season Antoine Semenyo – Rogan/JMP – 08/05/2021 – Ashton Gate Stadium – Bristol, England – Bristol City v Brentford – Sky Bet Championship.

Women’s Player & Young Player of the Year – Ebony Salmon

Shahan Miah & D-M Withers present Ebony Salmon with the first ever Women’s Player of the Season & Women’s Young Player of the Season awards at the Bristol City Supporters Club and Trust End of Season Awards – George West – 6 May – Robins High Performance Centre

The moment voted for as the ‘Champagne Moment‘ of the season (which, as always, was on a free form basis, with fans invited to write in the details of their nominated moment) was the announcement of Mark Ashton’s departure, while ‘Supporter of the Year’ was not awarded this year, as per the voting provisions if no clear candidates for a short list emerge. That was the case, with no one person receiving more than 15 nominations.

Our ‘Golden Boot’ for the men’s top scorer was also presented at the weekend to Nahki Wells.

Bristol City SC&T Golden Boot winner Nahki Wells – Rogan/JMP – 08/05/2021 – Ashton Gate Stadium – Bristol, England – Bristol City v Brentford – Sky Bet Championship.

Thanks to all who took part in the voting and to Dave Barton, the BCFC media team and JMP for the photos.
