As you will be aware, we have for some time been raising funds for a statue to honour John Atyeo. Now we need your creative input!
The fund-raising is well advanced (although it’s still not too late to donate and get your name on the statue plinth) and it has been agreed with Bristol Sport that the statue will be erected in a prominent position at the redeveloped Ashton Gate.
We are now, therefore, at the stage where we need to commission a sculptor and to give him or her an image of the great man on which to base the statue. And that’s where we’d like your help!
